    Hello everyone,
Wow -- can you believe it's November already?  So far, we've survived an earthquake, hurricane, snowstorm, and a chorus midterm!  Phew!  Everyone is doing really well so far this semester.  I hear improvement in the Concert Choir's sound every week and am looking forward to our winter concert.
I'm also looking forward to seeing many alumnae come back for our first annual Alumnae Choir.  This choir will be performing during the Honors Concert on Friday, January 6th.  If you know anyone who sang in the chorus while at Nazareth High School, please have them contact Ryan for more information.
Don't forget to vote for which Broadway musical you'd like to see!

    Dear Students,
Thank you to everyone (or at least 3 of you) who have been blogging this school year!  Sorry that this welcome back message is a little late...but WELCOME BACK!
We have several fun things coming up this school year.  I for one am very excited about the repertoire we will be singing.  Every year I try to pick a few challenging pieces is this year is like no other.  I cannot wait to hear how all of your voices will join together to again make some great music!!
So..like any good blog page I would like to pick a topic so we can have some good conversations.  So -- WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR?

    Musically yours,
    Mrs. Rocchi

    Hi everyone,
Well, District Chorus is only 2 weeks away and things are coming together.  I want to say a HUGE thank you to all of the students who have helped out so far -- especially Andrew for sharpening all of those pencils!  There is no way I would have survived this without the help from everyone.
I'm hoping everyone will get a chance to either here the District Chorus rehearse or be able to come to one of the performances.  You will truly be amazed by the talent of this group.  Dr. Dettwiler from Mansfield University will be our guest conductor and she is an AMAZING teacher!
Ok everyone - just a few more weeks of crazy Mrs. Rocchi and then things can get back to normal....or as normal as things can get!

Happy October, everyone!  We have had a great first month to the 2009-2010 school year.  I am very excited to hear the great music you will be doing at the Winter Concert!

Good luck to all of the District Chorus Auditoners!  You are very well prepared and I believe will represent Nazareth well!  Please remember, auditions are Monday, October 19th at Parkland High School.  Students need to provide their own transportation to and from Parkland.

Speaking of District Chorus, we still need HOST FAMILIES!!!!  Please continue to spread the word!  All of the information for Host Families can be found in the District Chorus 2010 Section of this website.

The Broadway show voting will be closing this Tuesday -- results to follow!!!
