Describe the different types of writing you have done this year. How are they similar and how are they different? What types of leads to you suggest for each type? Which ones are more formal? How does your voice change in each piece?

Now that you have analyzed and taken notes in margin on "The Highwayman," please respond again. Explain the story of "The Highwayman" in your own words. What writing techniques or literary devices does the poet utilize in telling the story? How do these techniques influence the story?

Write a one paragraph recommendation of the story. Be honest, give your true assessment of the story. If you liked it, cite the reasons why. If you did not, cite the reasons why you did not like it. Remember to discuss the author's writing style and techniques as well. Please end your opinion with a 5 star rating - 5 stars being the best while one star is the weakest. Start your paragraph with a topic sentence and end it with a concluding sentence. Don't forget to put the short story's title in your response.
