To all of the students who have used this blog over the past
school year: THANK YOU! This was my
first experience with a blog and I will be continuing to use this in the
future. I hope that it will become more
useful as time goes on.
A big thanks to all of my students this year who helped to
make this year successful. It was so
much fun to learn new information, investigate, and challenge your minds to be
successful. I am proud of all of your
hard work and effort that you have given over the past year and you should be
proud of yourselves too. I am looking
forward to seeing all of you in September.
To my future 6th grade class-READ! Have fun
reading our summer novel, Esperanza Rises, by Pam Munoz Ryan. I really enjoyed this novel and I hope you do
too. If you have any questions or
comments about the novel post a thread! I will check this blog as often as I
can and will respond to your post.
If you can, try to read a second book this summer from the
list that I gave you. There will be an
extra credit project that I will give out in the first tri-mester and extra
credit is always good to have!
