One of my favorite quotes related to science is the one I have across the top of my home page.  It is, "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."  (Albert Einstein).  Send in your favorite science quotes and we will discuss them in class.

This summer I have had the good fortune of working with several UTC graduate students - Bethany, Josh, and Dan.  They have the most incredible theses projects which I will tell you all about in class.  Check out a picture of them with Dr. Mark Schorr.  On the day of the picture, we were sampling fish in Rogers Branch in Chattanooga as part of Josh's project.  Make sure you look at the picture of the beautiful readear sunfish, Lepomis microlophus, we caught that day.
