In math this week we learned about the 3D shapes of cone, cylinder, cube, and sphere. On Friday after reading the story Captain Invincible by Stuart Murphy, (a book about 3D shapes) we made a graph of 3D snacks. First we sorted the snacks by shape, then we counted how many were in each group and colored in our graph to match the number that we had on our plate.
Have your child find examples of 3D shapes at home.
