Syllabus for Production I - IV

 

A note on the syllabus for this class – due dates change frequently.  We work on a block schedule, so dates differ from class to class, and one class may become further ahead than another for various reasons.  Because of this I do not include dates in this syllabus, just what you and your student can expect each six weeks.  Keep in mind that sometimes we might be ahead or behind in the syllabus

 

1^st six weeks –

          Games get to know you activities

          Pick a show to perform

2^nd six weeks –

          Rehearsals and possible travel to elementary or middle school to perform

Critique

3^rd six weeks

          Pick groups for Student directed plays

          Auditions and rehearsals

4^th six weeks

          Performance of shows

          Critique

5^th six weeks

          Pick final show

          Rehearsals  

6^th six weeks

          Final performances

          Critique

         

         

         

         

This year we are going to run things a little different than last year.   we are going to take on projects that are more reasonable and we will be having more accountablility for the entire class.
