    Keep your children reading nightly over the winter break. The public library is a great place to explore new books and start a list of AR books to take quizzes on! Follow the link to get a full list of AR quizzes!  

     First in Math
    I will send home usernames and passwords over the break. This is a great website that helps build and reinforce math skills.

     Clean out the toy box!
    With new toys and other presents coming in, 3rd grade would gladly welcome used toys and other kid treasures for 3rd grade's Scholar Dollar Store.

    I have added many new links to my links page. Students can practice their spelling words using spellingcity.com and use many typing practice games. I hope you take advantage of these!

    Confrences & Career Kids

    On Monday with your child's homework, two extra items will be sent home.

    The first will be conference sign up sheet. Please pick THREE time slots for October 12th. It will be a first come 1st served basis. I will do my best to give everyone their top choices. I hope to have all conference appointments scheduled by Wednesday, September 30th. Please keep in mind that this is a student holiday.

    The second item going home with homework will be a cut out figure the students will decorate representing what they want to be when they grow up. This is a Social Studies requirement and grade for all 3rd grade students. Please return them by October 5th. Be creative!
