How much homework will my child get?.

The students will be get a spelling packet on Monday which will have 4 pages and they need to 
do one page each day.  
They will get a page of Language Arts and a page of Math homework daily.  The homework is 
supplemental to what is 
taught at school.  The students have to read for a minimum of 20 minutes and three times a week 
they will be expected 
to write their thinking in their Reading Journal which they will share with the class if they want to. 
They usually do not 
get homework on Fridays unless they have unfinished work in class.

How can i help my child to attain his or her goal?

Children thrive on positive reinforcement. We need to work as a team and one of the best ways 
for you to help is by 
being encouraging and making sure you check your child's agenda and sign it daily so I know 
you've checked the 
homework. Your involvement in your child's education is the best way you can help your child .  If
