Each student will get a turn to be our class star! When it is your child's turn they will bring home a poster about a week in advance of their presentation. Please help them to decorate their poster to make it colorful and creative. Make sure to add pictures! Your child should bring in their poster on the asigned day as well as bringing in a few objects to share. Some ideas of sharing items are; a favorite book, trophy, award, collection, stuffed animal, etc. The week that your child is Star Student he/she will also get to be our line leader. The class will also write a letter to the Star Student. This enable students to feel special and practice letter writing which is a 2nd grade standard.
