GROUP:
-Where is your voice?
We are going to work on voice volume and discuss
whats appropriate for the classroom, library, and outdoors.
-Expected/unexpected behaviors: We focus on what behaviors are
expected in class such as sitting appropriately, raising your hand,
using an appropriate voice, having a quiet calm body, and getting
work
done. We also discuss unexpected behaviors.
-Morning message: We correct a message on the white
board ever morning focusing on capital letters, and punctuation
-Calendar: We talk about the month, day of the week, year
-Days in School: We are counting the days in school and
learning about ones, tens, and hundreds
place.
-Weather: We are charting the weather daily on a graph.
-Book: The children enjoy books on tape, listening to stories, and
reading the books they check out from the library, and having staff
read to them.
