Dear Families,
Alta Murrieta Elementary has a GREAT website that we will be using in
kindergarten through fifth grade to help with reading levels, spelling, and
fluency. “Ticket to Read” is similar to the very popular “Webkins” site
although READING is how students earn rewards. This program can be accessed
from home, school or anywhere!
As teachers we can track student’s progress, view
his or her current levels, and view how many minutes
each student has spent reading or practicing phonics
skills. Eventually your child will be collecting tickets,
building their own clubhouse, and competing with other
readers from across the country.
