This is my 16th year teaching, my ninth year at Saratoga Union School District
and the sixth year teaching here at Argonaut in 2nd grade. I LOVE teaching
2nd grade! I have been happily married for 34 years and we have 3 grown
children, 2 sons and 1 daughter. All of them are gainfully employed, yes! We
currently have 4 grandchildren. Before I taught school, I was a stay-at-home
mom and before that I worked in the accounting field.
My philosophy of teaching has always been to teach to the top and the others
will rise and follow. The pace of my class is quick. My goal is to get as
much done as possible so that the students will be well prepared for the STAR
test in May, but still have as much fun as possible doing so. My class is
rather structured, so it is easy for students to know where we are going
(hopefully!).
