An effort based independent reading grade for each month will be 
based on the following scale: 

EXCELLENT  15 +			
GOOD 12-14		
SATISFACTORY 9-11 (Minimum needed to avoid study hall)		
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT 8 and below	

	 
Monthly Reading Counts reports sent home each month will also 
include a percentage grade based on the average number of questions 
correctly answered.  The average reading level of the books read 
will also be noted.  Students will have access to their progress 
each time they sign on to the program.
