Reading Counts Info for 2nd Grade
Effort Grade on June Report card will take into account reading counts
points and averages.
Students should be reading at least 3 point books
2nd grade - 12-13 points per month
Sample book points:
Henry & Mudge books - 2 points each
Junie B. Jones - 3 points each
Magic Tree House- 3 points each
Arthur - 2 points
Cam Jansen - 2-3 points
The Littles - 3 points
Babysitter's Little Sister - 3 points
Boxcar Children - 3 points
Secrets of Droon series- 4 points
