Think Tac Toe

 

 

Intrapersonal

Write a “family weekend news” segment that includes 10 of your words. (underline them) This may be fictitious, but factual is preferable

 

  Logical/Mathematical

Apply point values for each letter with 10 of your words. (A=1, B=2…etc) Add the total for each word, (ie. BAT = 23) and find the mean, mode, median, and range for the 10 words
 Verbal/Linguistic
Write a poem using 10 or more of your words. Make sure to underline your words, and try to make the poem have one theme.

 

Naturalistic

Write a small narrative that includes 10 or more of your words and has a “nature” theme. This could be a story about a group of raccoons, etc. Underline your words.

 

 

Take a Spelling Pre-test.

Musical

Create a song using 10 or more of your words. Your song can rhyme or be free verse. Have a chorus as well (a part of the song that repeats after a verse)Underline your words in the song

Interpersonal

Create 10 interview questions using 10 or more of your words. Interview someone with your questions. Your interview should have a theme, not random questions. You may interview someone, for instance, about their job, or how they like school. All the questions would focus around this theme. Remember to underline your words and record your interview results

 

Kinesthetic

Create a sort that you
don’t think anyone else would have come up with. Record your results
on a sheet of paper. Use all of your words

 

Visual/Spatial

Create a picture where 10 of your words are the main characters. Your picture should display not only the correct spelling of the words, but their meaning as
well. Ex: If your word is “carry” the word “carry” would be spelled out with a crate of apples on its back
