- In Judaic Studies, the students explore our Jewish texts, inquiring
about the meaning in both ancient and modern times. Students are encouraged to
explore not only the plain meaning of the text, but also the deeper meaning.
Diana's Judaic Studies Class
- In Tefilah, the students learn to chant the prayers of the Friday
night Shabbat service, including the regular evening prayers and those of
Kabbalat Shabbat. Each student has a CD of the prayers to practice at home.

The 2010 Kitah Hay Share-A-Shabbat is scheduled for Friday night, May
14. This is an opportunity for you to come and enjoy listening to your
students' prayer skills and their summaries of the week's Torah portion.
