Michelle's Judaic Studies Class
In Judaic Studies (Thursday), the students study the history and
content of the five major classical texts of our tradition - Tanakh, Chumash
with Rashi, Talmud, Mishna, and Shulkhan Aruch. They also study the Torah
portion for Vav Shabbat and deliver short drashot during the Torah
reading.
Outi's Tefilah Class
In Tefilah (Tuesday), the students learn the prayers they will need to
know for their B'nei Mitzvah services. The 2009-10 school year culminates in
Vav Shabbat on May 15, 2010. This is a regularly scheduled Shabbat
morning service at TBA, during which the Vav class leads the congregation in
the Torah and Musaf services.
