Introduction
We have been learning about animals and
their habitats. You are going to be a

The
Process
This assignment is an
individual project.
- Your will need to pick two animals from the
list of choices from the following website. http://jajhs.kana.k12.wv.us/amazon/animal.htm
- Once you've picked your two animals you need
to compare(same) and contrast(different) their characteristics.
- Then you need to fill in your venn diagram
using your research.
- You are on to the next part of your
task. You are to create a
diorama of the habitat where your animals live. Look at the following website to get
an idea. http://enchantedlearning.com/subjects/rainforest/
- Here are some guidelines for your diorama:
You need: A shoebox, and
materials to create a rainforest habitat.
In your habitat you need
to include your animals, and other geographic features that would be found in
a rain forest, such as, plants, animals, and more.

Conclusion
You have now learned a lot about the
rainforest. You’ve seen some of the animals that live there and what they
need to survive. Some things to
continue to think about are: Why did we take time to learn about the
rainforest? Why should we protect the rainforest? How can we help?
