The Process

This assignment is an individual project.

  1. Your will need to pick two animals from the list of choices from the following website.    http://jajhs.kana.k12.wv.us/amazon/animal.htm
  2. Once you've picked your two animals you need to compare(same) and contrast(different) their characteristics.
  3. Then you need to fill in your venn diagram using your research.
  4. You are on to the next part of your task.  You are to create a diorama of the habitat where your animals live.  Look at the following website to get an idea.  http://enchantedlearning.com/subjects/rainforest/
  5. Here are some guidelines for your diorama:

You need: A shoebox, and materials to create a rainforest habitat.

In your habitat you need to include your animals, and other geographic features that would be found in a rain forest, such as, plants, animals, and more.

Conclusion

You have now learned a lot about the rainforest. You’ve seen some of the animals that live there and what they need to survive.  Some things to continue to think about are: Why did we take time to learn about the rainforest? Why should we protect the rainforest? How can we help?
