About The Teacher

Miss Imes has a B.A. in Elementary Educaton from Concordia Teachers College, 
River Forest, IL and a Master's of Science in Education from Walden 
University.  She has 31 years teaching experience.  In her free time 
she enjoys reading, musical theater, spectator sports, and playing with her 
two cats, Skeeters and Bobby.

My mission is to enable my students to discover and reach their highest 
potential. I will establish a classroom that nurtures the students’ 
learning, 
creativity, imagination, critical thinking, and leadership skills. My 
mission 
as a teacher is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in all aspects of the 
students’ lives. I will help my students to know that learning is a lifelong 
endeavor and is the door to personal success and fulfillment. I will 
institute high standards for the students’ learning, and will hold the 
students responsible for meeting these standards.
