I was born and raised in a small farming community in northeast
Nebraska. I earned my BS in Elementary Education from Concordia University
in Seward, Nebraska. I have an English concentration and an art minor. My
first call was to Bethany Lutheran in Long Beach in 1991. I went on to meet
my husband, Bob, at Bethany. We have been blessed with four wonderful
children: Joshua, Jacob, Andrew and Alyssa.
After spending several years at home with my children, I'm back to first
grade! My goal as a first grade teacher is to develop a love for reading in
each student. I hope to encourage each child to realize that God loves them
and has a special plan for their life. I am grateful to have a career that I
love.
