Fourth Grade Newsletter

Dear Fourth Grade Parents,
We had another fun week in fourth grade. Thursday we worked on our “Step Up
to Writing” program which is designed to improve the children’s writing
skills. The literature tests will be coming home today.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are this week on Thursday, November 12 and Friday,
November 13. You should receive your appointment time for the conference this
week. Remember these two days will be minimum days with a 12:00PM dismissal
time. I look forward to meeting with each of you and discussing your child’s
progress thus far.
There is no school on Wednesday, November 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Our class will be going to the Christmas store. An envelope will be provided
for the children’s spending money this week. We will go to the store sometime
next week.
Look in the school newsletter for information on the Big Red Bucket. Each
year we participate in the program. Food is placed in the bucket so those
families who can’t afford a holiday meal will be able to have one.
