About The Teacher
I grew up in the south and have lived in Blytheville Arkansas, Memphis Tennessee, Vicksburg Mississippi and New Orleans Louisisana. My husband, Steve, and I have lived in California for 25 years. We have two sons, Ron and Josh. I graduated from the Memphis College of Art with a BA in Fine Art. I received my teaching credential from California State University Dominguez Hills and completed my Masters Degree in Education and curriculum development at California State University Dominguez Hills in December of 2005. I completed my colloquy in January of 2009, which is a degree in Lutheran theology. This is my 21st year of teaching. I am looking forward to teaching first grade!

My goal for my first graders is to create in them a love for learning, to become wonderful readers and writers, and to share the love of Jesus.
