Dear Friends,

    I feel like the fog has finally been lifted!  I have had the cold/flu/yucky illness that has been going around and it is something!   After several rounds of medication, I finally am feeling better.  If your child says they do not feel well, believe them!  Everyone, take care of yourselves.

   The Trimester ends this Friday, and Report Cards will be sent home on November 18.  Don't forget that Thanksgiving Break is the week of November 23-27.

   Mrs Stansell, our Drama teacher has asked me to pass on the following message:

"Dear 5th grade Parents,

  This week the music CD for our play comes home with your student.  I recommend that you copy it onto the computer since CD's get lost so easily.  Students need to learn all the songs in the play.

  We have some good news.  Heidi Eder has volunteered to paint a new backdrop for the play.  She will need some parents to help prime the backdrop (about 1 hour if we have 5 people) and she is also looking for people to help paint during the course of the next five months (she will have design ready on the canvas).  Please contact me if you can help.  This is a huge project to take on, but if she gets help, it will make it much easier.  You can contact me at: myrastansell@sbcglobal.net

   Since Heidi is a mom from our room, I'm wishing several of you can help.  Thanks.

 

   Also, thank you SO MUCH to the mom's that helped bake the pizzas for Halloween.  Also, thank you Mrs. Pipp for the treats.  The pizzas turned our great, and the children had a wonderful time.  THANK YOU!
