Complete one Oral Presentation every three books you finish!A. Using a graphic organizer, analyze a main character. (character trait)A. In paragraph form, write a well written summary of the book. Include at least 8 major events, but no more than 11 events.A. Book Cube- Cover a square tissue box with paper. Draw four important scenes from the book. Include a sentences or two for each picture. Also include the book title, author, and lots of color!
Oral Presentations will be given Fridays.B. Using a graphic organizer, analyze the author's message.B. Construct a timeline of events from the book. Include at least 8 major events, but no more than 11 events.B. Diary Entries: Taking on the character's voice, create a minimum of 4 diary entries of major events in the book. Include enough information about each event to give audience a good idea of why you picked the event. (ie. why was it important)
Remember to use your check-off sheet to keep track of which items you have done. You MUST rotate between all three options. (ie. A, B, or C)C. Using a graphic organizer, compare this book with another book that you have read. (text to text)C. In a well written paragraph, give a description of at least 3 main characters. Also include information about the setting.C. Memory Box: Create a memory box or time capsule of items from your book (at least 8). Be prepared to explain the importance of each object you have chosen.
