2/5 I did not send a Student Bulletin today because we were gone on our
field trip and I didn't have a chance when we returned. I will combine this
past week on next week's bulletin. Also, no Friday folders. Have a great
three day weekend!
2/4 FIELD TRIP INFORMATION: We go on our field trip tomorrow to the Irvine
Education Center rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Students need to bring a sack lunch.
2/1 PLEASE READ: The guidelines for the mission flipbook research project I
sent home have a page missing. I will give that page to the students
tomorrow. Because of this confusion, I forgot to send the IOLA page for you
to sign. This will come home tomorrow. It's a Monday. What can I say?
1/21 STUDENT BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENT: I am sorry to keep changing things but
I still am not happy with how things are working with our Student Bulletin.
I've changed the format and I am going back to sending them on Fridays. I
hope the information you get from the new Student Bulletin is informative and
will help you support your child. Thanks for understanding.

our routine. I totally forgot about filling out the Student Bulletins this

12/17 Thank you for making me feel so special on my birthday. It was a
great day. One more to go and then we all get a well deserved break!
12/14 CALIFORNIA GEOGRAPHIC PROJECT UPDATE---PLEASE READ
We will be completing the project when we return from winter break, HOWEVER,
students need to have everything typed, with proper headings (Natural
Resources and the two other topics of student's choice)and in its FINAL COPY
stage. This means the student has read it and fixed anything that needs to
be fixed. This should be saved on his/her flashdrive and brought to school
on Thursday the 17th. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FLASHDRIVE: You must have
everything typed at home and then save it to your hard drive. Then, email it
to me with your project as an attachment so that I can save it into your
documents here at school. YOU MUST tell me in your email to me what version
of Word you have at home (93, 97, Office 2007 etc.) My email is

12/7 Project guidelines and forms for our social studies project are now
posted under Projects, Worksheets & Forms. Your child was given a copy in
class today. We started gathering information last week. The project is due
Thursday, Dec. 17th. It WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED after Dec. 18th.
PARENT SUPPORT:
You can help your child at home by checking his/her planner each night to
match completed work with the assigned homework. Because 4th grade is a
pretty big jump for kids, it is very important to continue to monitor
homework nightly, offer encouragement, and help to keep them organized. You
may check my web page for the homework. I will post it nightly.
Spirit Day is every Friday! Wear your Brywood t-shirt and show your school
spirit. Remember that popsicle sales are also on Fridays after school.
