No Daily Geography or Spelling packet this week (whoohoo!)
Are you ready for the long holiday weekend? I sure am. I want to wish you
all a Happy Thanksgiving. It's been a really trying time for me and this is
the time to reflect and realize all that is good in my life. I have a
wonderful class of students and families. You are caring, supportive,
understanding, and just a lot of fun. I am so grateful to each of you and
wish you the very best!

CURRICULUM - WEEK 10 1/2:
Language Arts - We are learning about, reading, writing our own Native
American Legends. Along with this, we'll be studying figurative language to
enrich our writing.
Math - We are winding dwown Unit 2: Addition, Subtraction, and Place Value.
We should probably have a test by the end of next week.
Science - Chapter 2: Living Things and Their Environment test will be
Tuesday, December 1st. Study Guide is to be completed by Monday, November
30th. It can be found under Worksheets.
Social Studies - Our Native American stray continues. We have chosen our
names, things we will take with us, and the Honor we are working towards! We
begin our journey now.
Writing - We continue summarizing non-fiction and working on legends.
