Thank you, to all my students and families, for the support and encouragement
you have given me. I know this has been a hectic time with me running back
and forth and being out. My mom is on her way to feeling better!

Thank you to the Schone Family for their generous donation of a the Webster's
Third New International Dictionary. There are over 2500 pages of words! We
will have a great time and put it to wonderful use this year.
CURRICULUM - WEEK 9:
Language Arts - We will read a story called "Thank You
M'am". In Spelling, we are working on compound words.
Math - We continue Unit 2 Addition, Subtraction, and Place Value.
Science - We continue Chapter 2: Living Things and Their Environment.
Social Studies - We will finish Unit 2 on Native Californians and begin a
Stray (ask your child for more information).
Writing - We continue summarizing non-fiction.
