Dear Parents,
My, but this week certainly flew by! Today we enjoyed Mrs. Bourne's
presentation on the Rhine River and her travel experiences in Germany last
summer. Next week we will be a little off schedule as we will be practicing
our Thanksgiving program every morning from approximately 8-9 or 9:30 a.m.
except for Wednesday when there will not be a practice. We hope to see
everyone at the Thanksgiving program which will be held at 1 p.m. in the
meadow. We are having our next reading quiz which covers chapters 10-14 in
ISLAND OF THE BLUE DOLPHINS and a Math test on Friday, Nov. 20. If your
child is absent, he/she will need to do test makeups after school following
the Thanksgiving break.
Required seatwork for the week is as follows:
Monday- Saxon #46, Language red wkbk, Series 4 (12, 18 a,b,23 a,d)
Tuesday- Saxon #47, Language red wkbk, Series 4 (6b, 19c, 24 a-d)
Wednesday- Saxon #48, Language red wkbk, Series 4 (3e-h, 7, 20 ans. only)
Thursday- Math only-Saxon Form 7B 1-20
