TEACHER MINI-GRANTS: Each teacher receives money
directly for special materials, projects, books & equipment and other
miscellaneous expenses they incur for their classroom.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION (Cardiff School) - PSO helps the
district pay for a credentialed Physical Education teacher.
MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM: PSO supports
the Cardiff District Music program and teachers. Ada
Harris students benefit from instrument coaches for the Ada Harris Wildcat
Band.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLIES AND FIELD TRIPS: Educational
assemblies & field trips are subsidized to enhance our school curriculum at
Ada Harris and Cardiff School. Field trip scholarships are available to
ensure that every child who wants to go can regardless of their family's
financial situation.
COMPUTER LAB PERSONNEL - PSO helps the district pay
for a credentialed teacher at Ada Harris' computer lab.
COMPUTERS - Help update software, computers,
repairs, printer ink cartridges, and supplies for computer technology.
TECHNOLOGY: Updating technologyu in our schools.
Providing video and digital cameras, printers, document cameras and other
needed technology to our schools.
LIBRARY: Provides
funds to update book collections and keep our children reading!
SCIENCE: Help support science program at
both schools through supplies and salary for instructors.
ART &
CULTURE EXPOSURE:
Provide art supplies and subsidize trips to the theater, concerts and more.
HOLIDAY
FOOD DRIVE: Thanksgiving baskets are coordinated for needy Cardiff families
every year.
