OUR ENRICHMENT CENTERS

Description

There are a number of Centers in the classroom for the children to use.
We have a Math Center, Puzzles and hands-on Center, Listening
Center, Art Center, Writing Center, Science Center, Computer Center
and Library. The class is divided into 5 groups with 4 children to group.
Each day, they have the opportunity to rotate to a different center when
their independent work is finished. As the year progresses, the centers
will have added materials for the children to use.

Centers give the children choices, improve social skills and enhance
their first grade experience. Please encourage them to finish their work
so they can take advantage of this great enrichment. Thank you.

HERE IS THE BREAKDOWN OF OUR 5 CENTER GROUPS. THESE ARE THE CENTERS THE
CHILDREN GO TO WHEN THEY FINISH THEIR WORK ON A PARTICULAR DAY.

NOTE: After visiting their listed center, they can always go to the
classroom Library, reading charts, phonics activities, flashcards or
whiteboards before the time is up.
