Grant Opportunities

TRI-COUNTY GATE COUNCIL GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

*Congratulations to Nichole Hughes (Summerland, Grade 4/5 teacher) for receiving a Tri-County GATE Council grant to implement science lessons and a scholarship to attend the CAG Conference in San Diego!

*Congratulations to Annalee Power (Carpinteria Family School, Grade 3 parent) for receiving a grant to implement an environmental project in Jan Silk's classroom!

Each year the Tri-County GATE Council offers grants to students, parents and teachers to fund special projects to expand and enhance opportunities for students in gifted and talented education programs.

Funding offered is as follows:

Student Grants - $150
Parent Grants - $300
Teacher Grants - $400


The deadline to submit a grant is December 2, 2016.

CAG Conference SCHOLARSHIP
The California Association for the Gifted (CAG) is offering 4 scholarships of $500 each for parents and educators to attend the annual CAG Conference which will be held in San Diego, March 3-5.
