TRI-COUNTY GATE COUNCIL RECOGNITION AWARD 2016-2017

Congratulations to Nichole Hughes, Summerland Elementary School 4/5 grade teacher, for receiving the Tri-County GATE Council (TCGC), Honor Our Own Award. In addition, Ms. Hughes received a $400 TCGC grant to implement science and a $500 scholarship to attend the annual California Association for the Gifted Conference in San Diego.

Delta Kappa Gamma International Society Grant - March 2016

CUSD is pleased to announce that a $450 literacy grant has been awarded to the GATE Program. These funds will be used to purchase specialized instructional materials for students and teachers.

Teacher's Fund Grant - February 2016

Thanks to the Teacher's Fund for awarding a grant in the amount of $500 to the CUSD GATE Program to purchase books for the GATE Parent and Teacher Library.
