Dear Caryn Families,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! We are delighted to welcome back our returning Caryn Families along with many new families. We hope the following information will assist you in navigating through the 2016-2017 school year.

Students may pay for lunch on a daily basis which includes entrée, vegetables, fruit, and beverage. Lunch menus are available on the Caryn and district websites. Parents may pre-purchase lunches online through EZSchoolPay.com. Students may use their pre-paid lunches any time during the year. Students who want to purchase only a drink have a choice of milk or water.

Visit the Caryn website to stay informed about everything that is happening at Caryn Elementary. While you are there, click on the NEWSFLASH tab. This is our first source to get information to you. Enter your name and email address to sign up as soon as possible. Our goal is to have the entire school using NEWSFLASH.

In close, one of the key ingredients to student success is parental involvement at school. Each year there are many opportunities to be involved. A great place to start is by volunteering in your child’s class, by preparing materials at home, by assisting in our library, or through the PTA. The staff and I are looking forward to working together with you and your child to make this year a success!
Sincerely,
Dino Tavolazzi
Principal
