Principal's Message

Greetings Cougar Families,

I am truly honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Caryn Elementary. Caryn has a reputation of excellence and I feel fortunate to join a culture focused on student learning, a commitment to high expectations, and great community support. It is my intent to continue to carry out these important traditions.

As I make the transition to Caryn, I am aware of the anticipation and eagerness that accompanies new leadership. I know that change can provoke both excitement and anxiety. It is my goal to spend my first several months learning about our school and getting to know our students and their families. My greatest initiative is to work collaboratively with our staff and families so that our school will continue to grow and thrive as we support our children.

Parents, teachers, support staff, community members and administration all have important roles to encourage our children to become active, life-long learners. It is my sincere desire to provide expanded opportunities for our students to acquire the necessary skills to become productive citizens in our ever-changing world.

I readily welcome feedback from the community. My leadership philosophy is centered on understanding and responding to the needs of our students in a positive, caring format. I count on students and their families to share needs and concerns as they arise. I will treat everyone with fairness and respect and will strive for excellence every day. You deserve nothing less!

I have scheduled a meet and greet before the start of school and hope to see you there. Please see information attached.

I wish you the very best and look forward to meeting you soon! This is going to be a fantastic year!
Mr. Dino Tavolazzi
