About The Teacher

Teaching is not my first career.  I come from a health care background, but 
my lifelong curiosity now focuses on physical science and the questions 
about our environment and world that engage young people.

I grew up in the SF bay area and have lived in Sonoma County for 25 years. 
My husband grew up in Sonoma County, so he's been here longer than I have.  
I am blessed with the opportunity to learn more about a field I am 
fascinated with and teach the young people of my community at the same time.

About 10 years ago I discovered soccer!  I coach my son's team, referee 
youth games and work for the youth soccer club.  Although I've never played 
outdoor soccer, I continue to play on an indoor team.

Students will:

       to reach conclusions
