Hello Students and Parents

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  I hope that you enjoyed your time off and got plenty of rest and relaxation.  I am eagerly  looking forward to starting the Spring Semester.  We will be studying Chemistry and Biology this semester.  I want to share with you 12 steps that will help you be successful in my classroom.

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MRS. LOPEZ'S CLASS
1) Be in class
2) Be on time
3) Pay attention
4) Be an active listener
5) Ask questions for understanding
6) Participate
7) Do Homework
8) Turn in Work on Time
9) Do Quality Work
10) Study notes 15-20 minutes a day
11) Be organized
12) Take advantage of extra credit opportunities

Students I hope that this new year you will take me up on this challenge and strive for success.  You can do it.  Remember:  Success  =   Effort                    and                  Effort   =   Success

Parents help your teenagers by keeping them accountable.

If we all do our part we will see progress.
