If I wish to talk with you, how do I do so?
I strive to continually keep the lines of communication open between the teacher and parents. Feel free to contact me via my email address (gwen.gibson@sesd.org),telephone, or a note sent to school with your child. I will respond to your message ASAP. I will not be able to meet with parents after school on Wednesdays since that day is scheduled for teacher staff meetings immediately after school.Back to Top

For absences, how do I get information about the day's classwork and homework?
Daily homework will always be listed on my website under the icon heading for homework. When your child is absent it is very important that you call the school office requesting the class and homework assignments. You may either pick up the "While You Were Absent" packet in room 30 or in the school office.Back to Top
How will I be informed about my child's academic and social progress inclass?
I plan to send progress reports and report cards home with your child. In addition, a bi-weekly manila envelope with your child's classwork, homework, and tests will also be sent home with your child to help you keep abreast of how well he/she is performing in class. Please sign the manila envelope and return all the papers in it back to school with your child the following day.Back to Top
