Dear Parents, Students, Teachers, Staff, Volunteers and Visitors,

Welcome to Christa McAuliffe Elementary School. We are very proud of our school, our many accomplishments, and the continuous progress of our students and our school.Our students, staff and parents take great pride in being the greatest school in Oceanside. We enjoy the great relationship we all share and love being a part of this school. In 2004, Christa McAuliffee School received the distinction and honor of being recognized as a California Distinguished School along with earning a statewide rank of 9 out of 10 on our 2004 Academic Performance Index (API) and 10 out of 10 when compared to similar schools throughout the state.We are proud to say that we have done it all again in 2008. Based on the 2007 STAR results, Christa McAuliffe School met all state and federal targets and exceeded the Statewide Performance Target of 800 with an API of 856. As a California Distinguished School, Christa McAuliffe School is recognized as a statewide leader in providing the highest quality public education. We attribute our success to our wonderful students, supportive parents, and outstanding faculty.
