In Language Arts we are starting our novel this week.  In science we are exploring space. This week in math, we will be working on metric measurement. 

FYI:
Monday, April 30, 2012 Weekly packet being sent home .  The packet is broken down for daily assignments.  ONLY the Spelling and Cursive are due on Friday.  The rest of the packet is due Tuesday - Thursday.

    
This week there will be nightly math homework to review the concepts learned in class.  These problems are due the following day.

     Spelling pretest given at home in the first column.  Student fills in second column with all of the words spelled correctly.  Practice test is given at home during the week.  


     Spelling and D.L.R. quizzes on Friday, May 4th.  Chapter 28 Math Test on Friday, May 4th.

      Any unfinished classwork will be sent home with your child to complete.

Read to the Stars: Please have your child read at least 20 minutes each evening.  Please record the number of minutes and initial on the reading log.  The Read to the Stars folder is due each Friday.
