Hello! Welcome to our class website! My name is Lisa Rodney, and I am a fifth
grade teacher at Circle View Elementary. I was born overseas in Okinowa, but
grew up mainly in the small town of Banning. I received my B.A in Psychology
from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and received my teaching
credential from California State University, Sacramento. I also have a Masters
in Education from National University.
This is my eighteenth year teaching. I have taught one year of sixth grade,
thirteen years of fifth grade, and two years of kindergarten. I have been here
at Circle View since 1997, and I love it!
I live here in Huntington Beach with my husband, seven-year-old son (a Circle
View student), and three-year-old daughter. When I am not working, I of course
love to be with my family. In my spare time, I also enjoy exercising, walking,
working on family photo albums, watching a few favorite shows on TV, and
reading.
