Ocean View School District GATE Program Information Website
CIRCLE VIEW GATE MAGNET PROGRAM
Our GATE magnet program serves students in fourth and fifth grade from throughout the Ocean View
School District. These students qualify for our program through a combination of test scores (OLSAT/
STAR Test) and teacher observation. Our students represent Ocean View School District's culturally
diverse population. Our program recently received a five-year approval rating from the State of
California and meets the needs of GATE students, as they learn the California standards, through the
utilization of effective instructional strategies highlighting depth, complexity, novelty and acceleration.
