A little about me. I am the happy father of three. I grew up in San Diego, and
live in El Cajon. I enjoy outdoor activities. Much of my free time is taken up
with supporting the activities of my children Rebecca, Andrew and Katherine.
Rebecca is a member of City Tree's first graduating 8th grade class. I am
happily married to Peggy Gross, currently the director of
Children and Family Ministry here First Presbyterian Church.
My goals for second grade revolve around critical thinking, required content,
respect of self and those around, and most of all growing knowledge of God.
Students in my class are encouraged to do high quality work, and think for
themselves. I believe that every student has the right and responsibility to
learn. Additionally I believe that it is my responsibility to know each
student such that I challenge them according to their developmental readiness.
I believe that it is my responsibility to present well thought lessons that
prepare students for success in and out of my classroom.
As a school we look for opportunities to challenge students'
understanding of themselves and their responsibilities. Everything that we
have and do is then connected back to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
