Announcements

 I'm looking forward to the 3rd trimester of 2012! At this point, I think all students know what is required of them and will continue to work hard toward success. We will be setting academic goals for this trimester and students will be outlining ways in which they can make improvements.
 
It's also time to restock classroom supplies.  We will be organizing our desks and making notes of what each student is in need of replacing. Glue sticks and pencils seem to disappear daily!!
  • Lucky Book orders will be due the 28th of each month. The online code is FBLMC.
  • Reading Counts points willl begin again for a 2nd trimester grade.  25-39 points is Satisfactory progress, 40-54 points is Good and 55+ is Outstanding progress. I make sure students are reading at their appropriate lexile which is why I require a signed slip for each book. Please ask your student if they are taking tests which can be done throughout the day. 
  • April 24th - Field trip - Chimpanzees. We will eat lunch at school
  • Game board book report information sent home on April 27th; due May 21st
  • State Testing May 8, 9, & 10 and May 15, 16, & 17.
  • Open House Wednesday, May23rd.
