Welcome
Opened as a K-8 school on February 15, 1965, College View was named for its location near Golden West College. When College View opened, its “open spaced” design was considered innovative and received visitors from throughout the western United States. Located on the northeast portion of Huntington Beach, the school currently serves approximately 465 kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Welcome to College View Elementary School. Located in western Orange County, minutes from the scenic California coastline, College View is one of eleven elementary schools in the Ocean View School District. Our dedicated, caring staff and supportive parents and community, work as a team to provide the highest quality education for our students. We are proud of our students' achievements and our academic programs.
As principal at College View, my goal is to provide the instructional leadership to ensure the educational success of each student. I believe in an "open door" policy and am available to answer any questions or concerns. A positive learning environment established through clear expectations and maintained in a consistent, caring manner is essential for student learning. State academic standards set high expectations for all students. Our highly skilled, knowledgeable staff and our supportive parents are committed to students achieving at their fullest potential.
