Should my student have homework each day?

Homework is given on Monday - Thursday. Sometimes work is completed in class. However, please contact me if
your child has trouble completing the homework assignments on a regular basis. If you are uncertain as to what
assignment is due for the next day, please check their student planner or click on the Assignments link at the top
of this page and it will take you to a listing of daily work. Additionally, students should be reading outside of the
classroom 20-30 minutes each day.

Am I allowed to bring treats for my child's birthday?

Yes. However, we do not have individual parties. Parents are allowed to bring a treat to share with the others in
class during the last 20 minutes of the school day. Please read the School Handbook for specific information
regarding this matter.
