Hi! I am Mrs. Parsons and I have had the pleasure to be at Culverdale
Elementary for over 23 years. I am a graduate of UCSB (GO GAUCHOS!) and after
graduation pursued my teaching credential at UCI. I have taught kindergarten,
1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade as well as math lab and I was the school's physical
education teacher long ago.
Some fun opportunities I have been a part of in the past here at Culverdale:
UCI Intern Program, Yearbook Coordinator, P.T.A., Jr. Irvine Games, Science
Little League Teacher,ACE after school programs, Culture Day and IPSF fundraisers.
Culverdale has the most wonderful students and parents. There is no other
school that I would rather be a part of.
People who have influenced my life greatly: My mom and dad, Corrie Ten Boom,
Coach John Wooden and my family.
I have a great family! I love them a lot and we have a ton of fun together.
I have been extremely blessed with kind kids and a great husband.
My favorite color is yellow, I love to swing dance (Lindy Hop), scrapbook,
garden and I teach fitness classes at the YMCA a couple times a week before I
teach at Culverdale. I am up pretty early and I like to be healthy and ready
for school.
Welcome to our Culverdale team. Mrs. Patton and I are are very blessed to
have the opportunity to work together and we are beyond excited to be here for
you as your first grade teachers.
