On-going assignments:

 **Performances
As stated in the opening -day choir packet which was sent home, a significant percentage of the 
student's choir grade is determined by their participation in performances.  Essentially, their midterm 
and final exams are the community tour and the evening performances.  

 **Special rehearsals
The A and B choirs rehearse at brunch or lunch 2 or 3 times a quarter in 
preparation for joint performances.  Attendance is required to get credit for 
this "homework". 
 A-choir students are required to attend rehearsals with 
their section (1st soprano, 2nd soprano, alto or baritone)  once a week at brunch.

 ** Permission slips 
Two weeks before each choral activity, permission slips are distributed.  
These require a parent/guardian signature,  and the due date is indicated.   
Permissions slips are the responsibility of students, and their timely
return will affect this graded responsiblity.  Check the calendar for choral 
activity dates.

 **Practice Sheets
 Students will be given a practice sheet in October and asked to record 
their practice time during the week.  This 4-week activity will require a  
parent/guardian signature at the end of each week to verify the student's 
practice times.
