Have a listen to the Bach Aria from the Orchestral Suite in D
major, transposed and arranged for
voices in the key of G. Practice with you music, humming your
part softly so that you can hear the
other parts, singing again with solfege, and once more with the
suggested syllables.

Little Drummer Boy has 3 verses and is sung in two parts(second
sopranos are divided to sing either alto or soprano). Boys are
singing the "drum" beats on the words "H'rum-pum-h'rum-pum"
or "H'rum pum-pum-h'rum pum-pum" and a few other variations.
Boys can learn the pitches and the rhythms by repeated listening.

Practice your Spanish (memorize one phrase at a time) and listen
for your part. Remember the 2nd sopranos have the melody so
descants need to float above them (not over-power them) and the
bottom part keep us grounded.
