Mrs. Kiene

I am so excited to be in the classroom!  I received my BS in Education, with a minor in English, many 
years ago, but continued to work for the law firm in Houston where I had worked to put myself through 
college.  I was a manager there for over 8 years.  I then worked part-time for several years (as a 
spanish teacher, dance instructor, computer trainer, and owned my own tutoring company)  while 
raising my family.  When my youngest child entered elementary school, I returned to the classroom.

This is my third year at CMS and I love teaching 7th grade.

Classroom Goals

My goal for my classroom is that every student finds it to be a safe, friendly learning environment.   I 
want every student to learn the skill of communicating effectively with me throughout the year.  
Whether it is a question about a grade, assignment, or something unrelated to the classroom, I want 
them to feel comfortable communicating with me.   

We will learn the 7th grade curriculum and have fun while we're at it.  So, WELCOME!!
