Goal For The Class

We are citizens in a society dominated by technology. More and more we become
dependent on technology to solve our problems. In some cases we solve more
problems than we make and other times the opposite occurs. Much good and great
evil has been done with the power of science and technology. It is imperative
to teach the science behind all technologies. That way, we learn to develop
and use promising technologies but also become able to judge our use of
science and technology as
beneficial to our society or not. The goal of this course is to transform
students into better people;
free, scientifically literate and able to think on their own.
