ANTI-BULLYING MONTH: November is anti-bullying month here at CMS. Ask your student about the
special presentation from the guidance counselors.
TISSUES: We're on our last box again. We now go through two boxes a week in Room 22. If you
haven't donated tissues before please consider donating after the holiday.
SPECIAL ASSEMBLY: Today we had a special assembly about knights and the evolution of the
tournament. Some big guys in armor fought each other right in front of us. Ask your student about
the knight presentations.
PROGRESS REPORTS: I turn in grades for progress reports (deficiency notices) on the Tuesday after
the break. Any late work can be turned in for half credit on Monday. Notices are mailed on Friday,
Dec. 4.
PINNACLE CODE REMINDERS:
a Z in Pinnacle means an assignment is missing. Pinnacle counts a Z as a zero until the assignment is
turned in and a grade entered.
A blank means that either an assignment is in the process of being made up (usually for an absence)
or I haven't yet entered the grade. Pinnacle does not count a blank toward the overall grade.
A 0 means the student earned a 0 grade for that assignment.
An X means the student was excused from that assignment. The points are not part of the final
grade.
