Pinnacle counts a Z as a zero until the assignment is turned in and a grade entered. A blank means that either an assignment is in the process of being made up (usually for an absence) or I haven't yet entered the grade. Pinnacle does not count a blank toward the overall grade. A 0 means the student earned a 0 grade for that assignment. An X means the student was excused from that assignment. The points are not part of the final grade. To see an assignment list by class, click on the grade for that class in the lower Pinnacle window.
